Course Title: MISY 407 Information System Strategy & Resource Management 


The Information System Strategy and Resource Management course provides an overview of contemporary information systems technology management. This course examines how information technology (IT) enables organizations to conduct business in radically different and more effective ways. The key course objective is to provide students with a better understanding of the influence of twenty-first century technologies on business decisions. The course discusses today’s challenges from the point of view of the executives who are tackling them. The course step by step proceeds from discussing the relation between IT, Strategy and Organization to how to implement competitive advantages that IT can offer, avoid potential risks related to IT and even how to manage IT outsourcing.
